Patient Details

This 49-year-old mother of two presented with symptomatic macromastia and breast ptosis, desiring both a reduction in size and a more lifted, youthful breast shape. She reported chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain, along with shoulder grooving and skin irritation.

She underwent a breast reduction with lift using a Wise pattern skin incision and inferior pedicle technique. A total of 880 grams was removed from the left breast and 638 grams from the right to improve proportion and symmetry.

The procedure was performed on an outpatient basis without the use of drains, consistent with our standard approach. Her recovery was uneventful, and she healed without complication.

Postoperatively, she experienced significant relief of her physical symptoms and improvement in daily comfort. Her results show excellent symmetry, restored upper pole fullness, and a more elevated, youthful breast contour.

Individual results may vary.
