Your Recovery
After surgery, it’s wise to schedule at least 1 week off of work. You will leave in the care of your designated family or friends, and you will spend the first few days resting.
Dr. Tabbal will give you a schedule for follow-up visits before you leave. Those visits are the time for Dr. Tabbal to check on your progress; however, frequent communication between you and Dr. Tabbal will allow him to answer any questions that may arise.
Especially with a combined procedure, it’s important to remember that your breast tissue will have some swelling. Your breasts and underlying implants may appear a touch higher than expected; this is to be expected, however. Your implants will gradually settle as your tissues relax and adapt to the increased volume and your “new” breast shape.
