• Classifying Deformities of the Columella Base in Rhinoplasty (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 2014)
  Tabbal co-authored a classification of deformities at the base of the columella, the narrow column of tissue between the nostrils. The system gives surgeons a consistent way to identify each type of deformity and plan its correction during rhinoplasty.
• Six textbook chapters on rhinoplasty (2014–2021)
  Tabbal’s chapters appear in Dallas Rhinoplasty: Nasal Surgery by the Masters, Secondary Rhinoplasty by the Global Masters, Operative Techniques in Plastic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery: A Practical Guide to Operative Care. They cover controlling the rotation of the nasal tip, choosing between open and closed approaches, and revision (secondary) rhinoplasty. These are the same decisions involved in planning rhinoplasty in Frisco.
• Advances in Liposuction: Five Key Principles with Emphasis on Patient Safety and Outcomes (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Global Open, 2013)
  As lead author, Dr. Tabbal reviewed five key principles of modern liposuction, with an emphasis on patient safety and outcomes. He also co-authored the “Principles of Liposuction” chapter in The Art of Body Contouring (2017). Both inform his approach to liposuction in Frisco.
• “Brazilian Butt Lift” Under Local Anesthesia: A Novel Technique Addressing Safety Concerns (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 2018)
  Tabbal co-authored a study describing a technique for performing the Brazilian butt lift (gluteal fat grafting) under local anesthesia, developed to address the procedure’s safety concerns.
