This 68-year-old female patient had endured decades of back, neck, and shoulder pain, which severely restricted her ability to wear certain bras, tops, and other clothing. Furthermore, the weight of her large, pendulous breasts hindered her ability to exercise effectively and even compromised her ability to perform routine daily activities.

She underwent an uncomplicated breast reduction surgery using a superomedial pedicle and wise-pattern skin incision technique. Over 700 grams of tissue from each breast was successfully removed, resulting in significant symptom relief. This included pain relief, enabling her to shop and wear a wider variety of clothes she had previously been unable to, and notably, a substantial improvement in her self-esteem and confidence.
