Breast Reduction Patient 5
This 28-year-old patient presented to my office with symptomatic macromastia, including chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain, as well as recurrent rashes and shoulder grooving from bra straps. She underwent an uncomplicated breast reduction using a Wise pattern skin incision using an inferior pedicle technique.
A total of 1,840 grams of tissue was removed from the left breast and 1,270 grams from the right, improving overall proportion and balance. Consistent with our standard approach, the procedure was performed as an outpatient and no drains were used.
Her recovery was smooth and without complications. Following surgery, she experienced significant relief of her physical symptoms and improved comfort in daily activities. Her results demonstrate excellent symmetry and well-maintained upper pole fullness, contributing to a natural, balanced breast shape. She is very pleased with her outcome.
